Our History

Based in Antwerp since 1979, the goal in the early years was to supply the American and German companies situated in the Port of Antwerp. Soon after, for the same reason, FBF The Netherlands was created close to Rotterdam. In the year 1998 we started our activities in France (Le Havre). Our turnover grew quickly and after 7 years we built a new warehouse and offices on the same location, from which we further expanded our business in France. Since then we are operating from the 3 biggest ports in the world. Finally, in April 2018 we celebrated the opening of FBF Rognac - our third biggest warehouse - close to Marseille.
By decentralising our activities, we aim to give our customers the best service possible. By anchoring ourselves in the local markets and giving our clients a personal approach we strengthen our reputation of quality company.

It all started with DIN products. However, due to the demand for ASTM/ASME materials over the years we have built out a substantial stock in the latter. Today we can proudly state that we have one of the most comprehensive stock ranges in Europe in the field of flanges, forgings, pipes and fittings.

Our goal is to be your preferred business partner in the field of flanges, pipes and fittings. We have over 40 years of experience and knowhow from which you can benefit. We are more than just a stockist. We offer our customized product solutions, e.g.: customized packaging, machining, chemical and mechanical testing, …

We are known for our in time deliveries and short lead times. Because of our decentralization strategy, we are are not burdened by a heavy company structure. Therefore we are able to respond very quickly to all your demands.

Quality and service

Not only our service is of great importance, also our products. All our manufacturers are chosen carefully and have all the necessary approvals by ISO 9001, PED AND BY TÜV / AD-W-0, certified by institutions as TÜV, LRS, GL, SGS and DNV.

Our Team

Without our team we would not be able to achieve all of this. Every link in FBF is equally important, from the sales and purchasing department to the quality departement, from administration to warehouse personnel and our truck drivers.
Both Managing Directors Luc De Maeyer and Pascal Pelgram have a combined experience In the business of over half a century. Mister De Maeyer started over 28 years ago and mister Pelgram joined in the year 2000. Together they have built the company to what it is today: one of the most important stockists of flanges, pipes and fittings in the whole of Europe.
